Year Manager

Payscale: SO1, SCP 23-25, Salary £27,041-£29,577 (pro rata, actual salary £23,228 to £25,407)

37 hours per week, TTO + 5 days

We are seeking to recruit a capable, organised and flexible individual to work with a Head of Year to manage the pastoral care of all students within a designated year group in accordance with school aims.  Successful applicants will provide the pastoral and administrative support required to manage a year group, pursuing high standards of achievement for all students.

Senior Design Faculty Technician

Permanent, full time, TTO plus 6 days

Are you a person with lots of practical experience working with a range of materials and equipment? Are you a person who likes working with young people and are happy to be trained in the use of new tools and processes if you don’t already have those skills? Do you have a good knowledge of IT and are willing to learn new skills if required? Are you a problem solver? Are you well organised and able to lead and manage other staff, processes, and equipment?

We are looking to appoint a Senior Technician who will provide support to staff teaching within the Design Faculty. You will help create and maintain a clean, orderly, and productive working environment. Reporting to the Faculty Leader, you will provide practical and administrative support for the teaching of subjects within the faculty. You will lead on Health and Safety and the maintenance of tools and equipment within the faculty.

The post would ideally suit someone with experience of working with children, machinery and who has a range of practical skills. The main material areas are wood, metal, plastics and an experience of CAD/CAM would be desirable but not essential as training will be given but aptitude with IT is essential. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic and self-motivated person, a good organiser and communicator, working alongside staff and students. You will be able to use your initiative and support the needs of the Faculty. We would be willing to train the right candidate.

IT Technician

Permanent

37 hours per week, full-time

Payscale: A2 - £18,065

Required from:  Immediate start

The prime objective of this role within the IT Support Department is to provide technical support services for the management of the schools’ IT facilities in the areas of curriculum and administration.

Applicants should have an enthusiastic approach, with good level of general IT familiarity, an understanding of HTML, Windows 10, Office 2019, iOS and Office 365 and an interest in, repair and maintenance of IT equipment.  Expertise in printer maintenance would be an advantage. The post is available with immediate start.
