Lawnswood Sixth Form continues to go from strength to strength and we are pleased to welcome many of our Year 11 students into the sixth form each year, along with students from other institutions from across Yorkshire.
Lawnswood Sixth Form continues to foster a learning platform for students to excel and enter higher education or alternative post 18 pathways.
We have a successful partnership with Ralph Thoresby School. This provides the widest possible curriculum to meet the needs of our learners. We have an exceptional wider study programme and excellent care and guidance. Academically we strive the achieve excellent results for the individuals within our care. Additionally we provide opportunities to engage in your future, with a week of careers guidance and a week of work experience prior to finishing year twelve. This is a notable highlight of the academic year, giving students the ability to explore post 18 options in full.Β
We are very pleased that we are joined by many external students each year and retain a number of our own students annually. We firmly believe in creating an inclusive and integrated community. Please click on the video link below to hear what our students have to say about Lawnswood.Β
