Lawnswood School is a successful 11-18 comprehensive school situated in northwest Leeds.

Our vibrant and harmonious school community truly reflects the cosmopolitan nature of Leeds. Treating every student as an individual, we are renowned for excellent pastoral care, which promotes excellent achievement for all. This was endorsed by our 'Good' Ofsted judgements in October 2013, May 2018, and again in September 2023. The 'Good' Judgement, across all four categories, described teaching as 'good' and 'outstanding' which promotes "effective learning and positive relationships". (Ofsted). Most of our students choose to remain at Lawnswood School in the sixth form and leave us skilled to take their place as caring, committed, self-aware and self-confident members of society.
