Our School
We are a vibrant and busy learning community, ensuring there is always plenty to communicate to and celebrate with you. For the most up to date news of learning and events at Lawnswood School, please visit our Twitter feed, which is updated regularly.
As Headteacher, I have the privilege of being able to visit lessons regularly and to see our 7Cs in action. It gives me great pleasure to see our students approaching their learning with commitment and showing the curiosity and creativity to improve not only their outcomes but their enjoyment of learning too.
Ensuring our students make excellent progress is very important to us and we are constantly seeking ways to verify our confidence in our assessment of students’ progress. Our Excellence in Assessment recognition by the Chartered Institute of Educational Assessor ensures our students, parents, carers and prospective parents and carers can feel confident that we have quality assessment that underpins our students’ academic and personal success.
Life at Lawnswood School is always busy the calendar on our school website gives you an overview of our activities. As always, we welcome visitors to the school and you will be met with a warm welcome. If you would like to arrange a visit, please contact visitor reception.
