We wish to appoint a part time teacher of English to teach across the 11-18 age range with the capacity to deliver the curriculum to the highest standard. On this occasion there is some flexibility 0about the hours for the role. The successful candidate will be a good practitioner, with great enthusiasm, a ‘can do’ mentality and an ability to achieve the best possible outcomes for our students.

Design Faculty Technician

Permanent, 37hrs/wk, TTO plus 6 days

Pay Scale: SCP point 1-4 (depending on experience)

Salary £17,364 – £18,426 pro rata, actual salary £14,861- £15,771

Start date: January 2020

We are looking to appoint a Design Faculty Technician who will provide support to staff teaching within the Art & Design Technology Faculty. You will help create and maintain a clean, orderly and productive work environment. Reporting to the Faculty Leader, you will provide practical and administrative support for the teaching of subjects within the faculty.

The post would suit someone with experience of working with children, machinery and have a range of practical skills. The main material areas would be wood, metal, plastics and experience of CAD/CAM would be desirable. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic and motivated person, with good organisational and communication skills, who can use their initiative and support the needs of the Faculty. We would be willing to train the right candidate.

Design Faculty Technician – specialising in Food & Textiles

Permanent, Full time/Part time, 8am–4pm daily. (number of days flexible.)

Term time only + 6 days.

Payscale: SCP 1-4. £9.00-£9.55/hr – (depending on experience.)

We are seeking to recruit an individual who will work within the Food, Textiles and Art departments maintaining a clean and safe working environment and supporting staff and students in lessons. This is a practical role and training will be available to obtain skills in key areas. Applicants will be practically minded and able to work as part of a team as well as use their initiative to ensure that the department is maintained to high standards.
