Ofsted confirms we are a good school!

We were inspected by Ofsted on 1 May and the outcome of the inspection has been reported to us in a letter from the Lead Inspector.  We were delighted that the inspection confirmed that the school continues to provide a good education for its students.

Below you will see some extracts from the Lead Inspector's letter and a link to the full letter for your information.

Feedback from the inspection acknowledged that the school has made significant progress in the last few years and that this is now evidenced in the students’ academic outcomes throughout the school.  The inspectors were particularly impressed with sixth form progress; students are making nearly half a grade more progress than students nationally.  They recognised that this means we are the best performing sixth form in Leeds (in terms of progress and attainment) and that this puts us in the top performing 20% of sixth forms nationally.

Please take a moment to read the report; it describes the school well and celebrates our many strengths.
